DHEC Air Monitoring Sites in or near Charleston:

1. Bushy Park Pump Station Ozone Monitor

2. Charleston FAA Beacon
PM2.5 Federal Reference Monitors: these 2 monitors collect 24 hour samples. The primary monitor collects samples daily, and the secondary monitor takes samples every 6 days.

3. U.S. Army Reserve

4. Jenkins Avenue Fire Station
PM10 continuous monitor: weighs a sample every hour
TSP (total suspended particulates) monitor

5. U.S. Naval Base

PM2.5 Federal Reference Monitor: 1 monitor collects 24 hour samples daily.
PM2.5 Speciation Monitor: this monitor has 3 different types of filters and can be used to detect different metals in the particulates.

8. Cape Romain Wildlife Refuge
PM10 continuous monitor (weighs a sample every hour)
